About The Lawn Counsel

The Lawn Counsel sells lawn-care knowledge, not lawn service.

It never mows, sprays, or visits a yard. It sells advice — calendars and plans that tell a Bermuda-grass lawnowner exactly what to do and when, tuned to their street, their soil, and their grass.

The problem it exists to solve is simple: most lawnowners don't have a product problem — they have a what-and-when problem. The products are on the shelf. The timing is the hard part, and timing is local. A national schedule can't know when soil in Porter holds at 55°, or what a community's COA requires of its lawns.

So every edition is written for one community at a time — its mandated grass, its soil, its COA rules — and the program runs on soil-temperature triggers instead of printed dates. Our motto is the whole method: Know what to do · Know when.

The first edition is The Highlands Bermuda Lawn Year. If your community isn't covered yet, request your neighborhood — those requests decide which edition gets written next.
